Movie lovers who love the Nickelodeon series will love to watch Avatar The Last Airbender movie. The motion picture if full of adventure, special effects and a great cast including Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire).

The plot centers around Aang, who is the last of the many different Avatars sent to save the world against the Fire Nation. Aang is young and a very hesitant leader who wants to remain a kid instead of saving the world. When the young hero sees that the Earth Nation is being vanquished by the Fire Nation, he takes up his role as both leader and liberator. This is where he starts his journey as the true Avatar.

No story would be a good story without the antagonist. In this case Dev Patel plays Prince Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation, who cannot return home until he captures and surrenders Aang to the leader of this nation.

The motion picture was released on July 1, 2010 in the United States of America. It is a good idea to watch Avatar the Last Airbender Movie with the whole family. The movie has been rated PG, because it has some scenes of mild violence. However, the story has a good message of responsibility that can help younger viewers learn that it is important to work as part of a community.

The motion picture failed to reach number one at the box office, but it was well reviewed. Most people liked the fact that the it was close enough to the series. There are rumors that a sequel is to follow. The cartoon is broken down into 4 books, each covering the mastering of one element.

The film started with air, which is the only element Aang was able to master before he went missing. Now, that the Avatar is back he must learn how to control the remaining elements. He will have to deal with Prince Zuko and his sister.

The fight scenes are great and so are the special effects. While the Avatar and his companions are trying to master the elements, there are others who have great fight scenes. Prince Zuko is a great martial artist.

This motion picture is already available for viewing online and also to rent. Whether people chose to watch it online, on DVD or Blu-ray they will enjoy watching it. Do not forget to watch Avatar the Last Airbender movie as soon as it becomes available and enjoy the adventure next to Aang and his companions.
